-Pilgrimage is the fifth pillar among the basic pillars of Islam-Language defines Hajj as the intention to visit a "sacred".-The juristic definition Hajj is to visit specific places at specific times with specific actions.
The conditions for the obligation (wujub) of Al Hajj:
To be a Muslim
To have a sound mind (sanity)
The ability (to perform Hajj)
To be free
To be an adult
Conditions for the correct performance of Al Hajj:
Being a Muslim
Ihram
The correct timing (the time for Ihram)
The correct place (the site of Ihram)
Common sense
Sound mind (sanity)
To perform the duties himself, unless for a valid excuse

Some Virtues of Hajj and Umrah:- Allah said
:“Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Makkah – blessed and a guidance for the worlds. In it are clear signs [such as] the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it shall be safe. And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House – for whoever is able to find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves – then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.”-The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “He who performs Hajj and does not speak obscenely or commit evil then he returns just as the day his mother gave birth to him”-The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “There is no day on which Allah frees more of His slaves from Fire than the Day of Arafah.”Types (Nusuk) of Hajj are Three:Hajj Ifrad (Mufraad/Mufrid): The pilgrim pronounces intention to perform only Hajj.Hajj Qiran: The pilgrim pronounces niyyah (intention) of performing both Hajj and Umrah simultaneously with the same Ihram and actions like Tawaaf and others (i.e. the pilgrim enters into the state of Ihram for both Hajj and 'Umrah together).Hajj Tamattu: The type of Hajj where a pilgrim starts first by performing 'Umrah (the Ihram for 'Umrah starts from his country, when he finishes 'Umrah he is released, then makes Hajj later with an Ihram from Makkah).General advice:
1-Avoid debt for performing Hajj as it is wrong, since pilgrimage is not obligatory (wajib) except for those who can afford the expenses and the journey.2-Try hard to avoid watching people (other pilgrims) and concentrate on your own actions and the right way of worship, this is because you may see strange acts performed by some Muslims out of ignorance. 3-Try to remain calm and patient because these are lofty manners.4-Avoid committing sins and keep away from arguments and disputes.5-Avoid competing with other pilgrims in a crowd or hurting them during Tawaf, Sa'y and other acts of worship.6- Beware of mistrusting Allah, by having any doubt that Allah didn't forgive you because that would be the first sin you would commit after Arafah.7- Do not laugh or speak loudly because raising the voice in the presence of Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) invalidates good deeds.8- Don't smoke. If you are a smoker try hard to stop it in the Holy Lands because it is considered a sinful act especially in the city of Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) and it is also regarded as impoliteness in the presence of the great Messenger (peace be upon him).
